La Esperanza Estate is located in the very well known department of Huila, precisely in Pitalito region. Pitalito is the town with the higher volume of coffee production in Colombia, with Volcanic soils due to the near distance with the Purace Volcano.
Pink bourbon is a varietal firstly found in Colombia, as a natural mutation of the Red and Yellow Bourbon. This coffee offers uniqueness and an exotic profile.
WHY DO WE LOVE FINCA LA ESPERANZA?
- Special first 12 hours fermentation process in the grain pro bags at a controlled temperature of 2 C. The cherries then are put in sealed tanks with CO2 for 24 hours. Then the coffee was pulped without water and dried on raised beds between 20- 30 days
